Vasant Panchami also called (Saraswati Puja) is a festival that denotes the preparation for the arrival of spring. The festival is celebrated by people in different manners depending upon the region in life in the Indian subcontinent. Vasant Panchami also denotes the beginning of preparation for Holika and Holi, which occur forty days later. The Vasant Utsava (celebration) on Panchami is commended forty days prior to Spring, on the grounds that any season's change period is 40 days, and from that point forward, the season comes into full blossom.
It is celebrated on the fifth day of the period of Magh as per the Hindu calendar. The festival is also referred to as Saraswati Puja in many parts of the country and includes loving Goddess Saraswati.
