For a while the Sikhs withstood the assaults and bar, however ultimately, the supply of food in the town ran out. The Mughals offered the Sikhs a protected exit in the event that they left Anandpur. Master Gobind Singh concurred and emptied the town with his family and a little band of retainers. Mata Gujari and the two Sahibzadas were brought by the family's worker Gangu to his local town of Sahedi. Paid off by the Mughals, he turned over the three individuals from Guru Gobind Singh's family to the faujdar of Sirhind. They were then brought to the Nawab Wazir Khan (Sirhind) in Sirhind. The two children of Guru Gobind Singh, Zorawar (9 years of age) and Fateh (6 years of age) were offered a safe section on the off chance that they became Muslims. With a fortitude that gave a false representation of their years, the two young men wouldn't do as such. Wazir Khan condemned them to death. They were bricked up alive inside a divider.
